2. Overview
This website does not set cookies and does not use tracking or analytics tools. We only process personal data as far as necessary to run the site and to handle your inquiries. The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to a collaboration) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) via the Cloudflare Pages service. Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP addresses, date and time of access and browser information in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. Details are in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of the website). We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
4. Inquiry form and email
If you contact us via the inquiry form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, company or brand, email address, requested artist, topic and message) in order to answer your inquiry and to prepare a possible collaboration (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). If your inquiry concerns an artist, we share the necessary details with that artist.
When you submit the form, it opens your email app with a prepared message to management@8genzy.com; it is sent through your own email provider. Inquiries go to our Google Workspace mailbox. The provider is Google Cloud EMEA Limited, 70 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland. We have a data processing agreement with Google. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We delete your details once your inquiry has been fully handled and no collaboration comes about, at the latest after two years. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
5. Videos, fonts and links
Videos and images are stored on our own web space at Cloudflare (see Hosting). Videos only load when you start them. No content from Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok or other platforms is embedded. The fonts are also stored on our web space; no connection to Google Fonts is made when you open the site.
The links to Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok are normal links. Data only goes to the respective provider when you click a link; their privacy policy then applies.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)). Just write to management@8genzy.com.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
7. Encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize it by the lock icon and “https://” in the address bar.
